Bibi Ka Maqbara, in Aurangabad is certainly one of the most impressive pieces of Mughal construction standing in the fairy tale garden replete with fountains and ponds encircling it.
It was built in the year 1678 by Azam Shah as a Memorial to his mother Begum Rabia Durrani and it is has been compared to the Taj Mahal in terms of architecture magnificence. The intricately designed marble screens are iconic instances of Mughal art.
